  Matthew Rice was baptized on 28 February 1628/29 at St Peter's Church, Berkhamstead, co Hertfordshire, England.4,2,5 He married Martha Lamson, daughter of Barnabas Lamson and Mary Liggett, on 7 July 1654 at Sudbury, MA.6,2,7,8 Matthew Rice died in 1717 at Sudbury, MA; about 89 years (not found in the published records).9,10 He and Martha Lamson resided circa 1655 at Sudbury, MA.9 Matthew Rice left a will on 14 October 1716, proved 30 December 1717.
